“It is truly rewarding when the client becomes enthusiastic about the potential aesthetics of their space.”
Robin D. Nikiel CID, IIDA
Senior Interior Designer
After graduating in 1986 from Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Interior Design degree, Robin worked simultaneously for two firms in Baton Rouge. She came to Baltimore in 1988 after accepting a position with Edmunds & Hyde to expand her healthcare experience after working on projects at Franklin Square Hospital, University of Maryland Medical System, and Stella Maris. In 1993, she joined Rubeling & Associates and added education and corporate offices to her expertise. Robin finds her greatest strength in the “brainstorming” aspect of a project. “I enjoy finding ways to work out the details,” she says.
