Katherine Moran, known to her co-workers and clients as “Katie”, worked as an intern at Rubeling & Associates during the summers before graduating from University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture in 1994 and a Masters of Architecture in 1996. During her education, she added to her knowledge of architecture by traveling abroad to Paris, France and St. Petersburg, Russia. She also gained insight into urban planning through trips to Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. Katie’s experience abroad also served her well on the firm’s project for St. Joseph’s Society of the Sacred Heart House of Formation project in Nigeria, Africa.
