A graduate of the University of Maryland School of Architecture in 1977, John DiMenna obtained his architectural license in 1980. Since joining Rubeling & Associates in 1982, John’s extensive professional experience has expanded from master planning, designing and executing construction documents to include the successful management of complex facilities for education, government, fitness facilities, offices, and banking clients. John is past president of the Baltimore Chapter of The American Institute of Architects (AIA), a former Director to the Maryland Society of Architects, former Treasurer of the Mid-Atlantic Council of AIA, and former Board member of the Institute of Notre Dame. He also served as chairman of the Architectural Review Committee for the Mount Vernon-Belvedere Historical District from 1979 through 1988 and four terms on the Baltimore County Architectural Review Board. He was on the Board of Trustees of Notre Dame Preparatory School and a former President of the Greater Towson Committee.
