After being on the Dean’s List and in the National Honor Society of Architecture, Bill Novian graduated from Virginia Tech in 1994 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. Five years later, he received his license as a Maryland-registered architect. Before joining Rubeling & Associates in March 2002, Bill worked on projects for healthcare, research, and retirement organizations. He has since added kindergarten through higher education projects, which are now his design specialty. In the fall of 2003, Bill became LEED – Accredited, and is now chair of the Division's Sustainability Committee. In 2017, he received an Outstanding Achievement from JMT for this management abilities on two large concurrent education projects.
